September Says

Sisters July and September are inseparable, yet very different—September is protective and suspicious of others, while July is open and curious about the world. Their dynamic is a concern for their single mother, Sheela, who doesn't know what to do with them. When September is expelled from school, July must fend for herself and begins to assert her own independence—a situation that doesn't go unnoticed by September. Tensions mount between the three women as they seek refuge in a dilapidated vacation home in Ireland, where July finds her bond with September changing in ways she can't fully understand or control—and a series of surreal encounters tests the family to its limits.
