These stories span geographies, eras and realities,from East Anglia to Ukraine to Central Africa; the 1970s to a post-industrialfuture; and the material realm to the otherworld and afterlife. They explore avariety of human relationships, but with common threads: these characters arein thrall to the past and compelled by circumstances to confront awkwardtruths.
