Tom and Nancy Wolfe, a husband and wife team, join forces to present a step-by-step guide to making a unique doll in the country tradition. Tom leads the reader through the process of carving from wood and painting the head, hands, and feet, in easy to understand steps. Nancy then shows the reader everything from laying out and cutting the pattern to sewing, assembling and dressing the doll. Country Dollmaking includes all the patterns you will need and is amply illustrated with black-and-white and color photographs.
