The book is split into multiple levels 7-, 8-, 9- and 10-letter polygons, and each puzzle includes grades so you can compare your vocabulary against the setters at The Times.

Make words of three or more letters, always including the central letter. Excludes capitalised words, plurals, conjugated forms (past tense, etc), adverbs ending in -LY, comparatives and superlatives. Accented letters are allowed, and are considered identical to the same letters without the accent.
