Van Afrika brengen ze nu de oudste beschaving van de wereld op haar knieën als ook hier het zombie virus toeslaat en meedogenloos zijn slachtoffers eist! De Amerikaanse ingenieur Nicholas Burton moet alles uit de kast halen om zijn zwangere vriendin te bereiken. Hij krijgt hulp van straatkind Javed en samen leggen ze een enorme afstand af door levensgevaarlijke landschappen, gezien het feit dat er net een zombie-Apocalyps is losgebarsten.
