Chris & The Kings Daniels - The Spark

De Amerikaanse zanger/gitarist Chris Daniels en zijn band The Kings zijn in ons land geen onbekenden meer. Met zijn muziek, een mix van blues, folk, cajun, jazz en rock (om enkele ingrediÙnten te noemen), heeft Daniels een vaste schare bewonderaars aan zich weten te binden. Met 'The Spark' (de achtste cd onder eigen naam) stelt hij hen niet teleur. Sterker nog, 'The Spark' is misschien wel zijn beste cd tot nu toe geworden! Met de hulp van The Kings en gastmuzikanten als slidegitarist Sonny Landreth, bluegrass-legende Sam Bush, accordeonist Steve Riley, pianist Bill Payne (o.a. Little Feat) en zanger/gitarist Richie Furay (o.a. Buffalo Springfield en Poco) levert Daniels een klein meesterwerkje af.
