Innocentia

De Portugese jazzvocalist Maria Mendes maakt indruk met haar tweede cd Innocentia met klarinetvirtuoos Anat Cohen. Deze cd bevat haar favoriete jazz-composities plus zelfgeschreven nummers. Ze maakt uitstapjes naar jaren zestig vocal-jazz en ritmische stromingen als bossa-nova en latin-jazz. De ene helft van de songs is in het Engels, de andere in het Portugees.
