De wereldberoemde tenor Jos Carreras is afkomstig uit Barcelona. Van tijd tot tijd zingt hij in zijn moedertaal: het Catalaans. Zo ook op Testim i testimar, een van de drie cds in deze box, waarbij hij tevens Catalaanse versies van My Way en Night & Day brengt. Eveneens in deze box een album van de bekende Spaanse bariton en operazanger Joan Pons en de Catalaanse tenor Jaume Aragall. Ook zij zingen Catalaanse volksliederen en worden begeleid door het Symfonieorkest van Barcelona.
