Nazareth, die legendäre, prägende schottische Hard-Rock Band der ersten Generation. Nachdem sie 2018 ihr 50 jähriges Jubiläum mit der Veröffentlichung ihres 24. Studioalbums "Tattooed On My Brain" gefeiert haben, werden die Hardrocker mit der Veröffentlichung ihres 25. Studioalbums "Surviving The Law" in das 54. Jahr ihres Bestehens eintreten. Das Line-Up für "Surviving The Law" ist das gleiche wie bei der vorherigen Veröffentlichung, bestehend aus Jimmy Murrison (dienstältester Gitarrist in der Bandgeschichte), Lee Agnew (Schlagzeuger seit Darrel Sweets Tod 1999), Pete Agnew (Gründungsmitglied, am Bass) und Sänger Carl Sentance. "Surviving The Law" setzt das neue Kapitel fort, das 2018 mit der Ankunft von Sänger Carl Sentance (Ex-Persian Risk, Don Airey) für die Band begann. 2014 musste der ursprüngliche Sänger Dan McCafferty die Band aus gesundheitlichen Gründen verlassen. Tattooed On My Brain" sah eine verjüngte Band mit einem Album, das alles hatte, was diese Band überhaupt erst so großartig machte. "Surviving The Law" wurde auch von Yann Rouiller bei Sub Station in Schottland produziert. Das Album enthält Songwriting von allen Bandmitgliedern und zeigt, dass nach 25 Alben in ihrer Karriere, das Feuer des Rock 'n Roll immer noch so hell wie eh und je brennt. Nazareth wurde 1968 in Dumferline, Schottland, gegründet und veröffentlichte 1971 ihr Debütalbum. Die Band kam groß aus, als sie, nachdem sie Deep Purple auf Tour unterstützt hatten, Anfang 1973 das Album "Razamanaz" veröffentlichten, das von Kritikern und Fans gefeiert wurde. Sie veröffentlichten dann eine tadellose Reihe von Hit-Platten, darunter "Loud 'N' Proud", "Rampant" und den Smash-Hit "Hair of the Dog" (1975). Das Album enthielt Evergreen-Songs wie den Titeltrack (später von Guns N' Roses auf ihrem Album "The Spaghetti Incident" gecovert) und "Love Hurts". Für alle Hard Rock Fans, die mehr als willkommene Rückkehr von Nazareth!
