L’icona del movimento no wave e regina del sexy noise Lydia Lunch, assieme a l’erculeo chitarrista Weasel Walter (Flying Luttenbachers), il distruttore di tasti e bassista Tim Dahl (Child Abuse) e il leggendario fustigatore Bob Bert (Sonic Youth, Pussy Galore), sono pronti a presentare “Urge to Kill”, che segue la registrazione live di questa micidiale porgetto chiamato Retrovirus. “Urge to Kill” porta a nuova vita classici estratti dall’immenso catalogo di Lydia. Ecco quindi rinvigorite e re-interpretate canzoni come ‘Snakepit Breakdown’ e ‘Lock Your Door’, estratte da “13.13” del 1981; ‘Fields of Fire’ e ‘Three Kings’, dallo storico “Honeymoon in Red” (1987); e poi ancora ‘Still Burning’ e ‘Some Boys’ da “In Limbo”, del 1984 e ‘Tied and Twist’ dal disco del 1980 ‘Queen of Siam’.
