The F-16 is characterised by the original, bubble-shaped cockpit hood, which allows the pilot an extraordinary all-round view. In addition, the F-16 has been equipped with innovative solutions such as the side joystick, the "fly-by-wire" and modern avionics systems for flight and combat.
