Sci-fi thriller/horror from writer/director Gabriel Cowan. When a scientific experiment into parasitology goes horribly awry in the late 1980s, the population of the island of Cuttyhunk is decimated and the few survivors forced to flee. Now, 20 years later, orphaned former resident Jamie Akerman (Mircea Monroe) returns with her boyfriend Marco (Brian Krause) to sell the family property abandoned years before. But, unbeknownst to the young couple, a new strain of parasite has engulfed the island - and they soon find themselves locked in a desperate battle for survival.
