Paul Bartel directs and stars in this dark comedy about a couple eager to start up their own business. Paul and Mary Bland (Bartel and Mary Woronov) want to open their own restaurant but lack the necessary funds to do so. When Paul returns home one day he finds Mary fighting off a would-be swinger who has mistakenly entered the Bland's apartment. Angry and impulsive, Paul kills the imposter and, in a flash of panic, strips him of his wallet before disposing of the body. Excited by their new-found way of making money, they set a plan in motion to invite more unsuspecting swingers to their home.
