Alien Strain

Low-budget US sci-fi feature. Haunted by his girlfriend Rachel (Laura Gordon)'s disappearance, Matthew (Michael Finn) frantically searches for clues to prove his theory that she was the victim of an alien abduction. Confined to a mental institution, Matthew begins to think he may have killed Rachel only for her to unexpectedly reappear exactly a year after her disappearance. But she's not quite the same as when she first left.
