Feature musical starring Cher, Kristen Bell and Christina Aguilera. Small-town dreamer Ali Rose (Aguilera) leaves behind her home in rural Iowa and strikes out for Los Angeles in the hope of advancing her showbiz career. There she eventually finds work as a waitress in the faded but majestic Burlesque Lounge owned by retired dancer Tess (Cher), and quickly falls in love with the glitz and glamour of burlesque. Before long she takes to the stage as a singer and dancer, much to the consternation of envious fellow employee Nikki (Bell) - but will her talents be enough to revive the ailing venue?
