The Red Shoes

Korean horror-drama about a wife and daughter struggling to make ends meet after discovering an unfaithful husband in bed with a stranger. Sun-Jae (Kim Hye Su) lives every wife's nightmare when she finds her man in bed with another woman and walks out with her daughter Tae-Su (Yeon-ah Park). The pair struggle financially with their new reality and the decrepit apartment they are forced to move into. When Sun-Jae finds a pretty pair of red shoes on the train, she brings them home to brighten things up a little. As it happens, they are cursed and bring their bearer extremely bad luck - of the death and destruction nature. Tae-Su's life is soon hanging in the balance while Sun-Jae and her new boyfriend attempt to figure out what the shoes mean, and how their power can be overcome.
