Scotland: The Music and the Song

Het Schotse label Greentrax bestaat alweer twintig jaar. In die periode hebben ze prachtige platen uitgebracht van grote namen als Dick Gaughan, Eric Bogle, Archie Fisher en Jean Redpath. Nieuwere artiesten groeiden bij Greentrax uit tot graag geziene bands, zoals Salsa Celtica, Peatbog Fairies, Deaf Shepherd en Shooglenifty. En dan is er nog de groep Gaelic zangers/essen als Catherine-Ann MacPhee en Mairi MacInnes die een belangrijke pijler zijn van de catalogus. Al deze artiesten en nog veel meer op een mooi vormgegeven driedubbel-cd!
