The Henry Girls are three sisters from Co.Donegal,Ireland. They were brought up by music loving parentswho introduced them to an eclectic array of soundssuch as The Everly Brothers, The Bothy Band, TheBeatles, Johnny Cash and Ella Fitzgerald as well beingsurrounded by traditional Irish music. In their ownmusic, they have a unique rootsy sound which blendstheir native traditional Irish folk music with hints ofamericana, bluegrass and blues. They are renowned fortheir fi ne close harmonies and musical arrangements,and have been likened to such great musical acts asCrosby, Stills & Nash, The Dixie Chicks and The Be GoodTanyas. They write songs that are tuneful, catchy, andwarm. Their repertoire is scattered with old and new andtheir style refl ects many infl uences and tastes.
