Sanity Obscure steht für die geladene Mischung aus Doom- und Gothicmetal: Anspruchsvolle Lyrics, druckvoller Sound, Wechselgesang - Melancholisch sehnsuchtsvoll - und über allem liegt der Hauch Nostalgie vom Gothic Metal der 90'er, der aktuell in der Landschaft der harten Musik eine Nische besetzt, deren Fans Durststrecken gewohnt sind, wenn es um heiße Neuerscheinungen geht. Eine solche heiße Neuerscheinung steht mit Sanity Obscure's neuem Album "Through" kurz bevor!

Ursprünglich gegründet vor 22 Jahren in Nürnberg, hatte die Band einen guten Start. Unter damals teilweise anderer Besetzung standen u.a. Supportgigs für Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, My Dying Bride und Auftritte auf Festivals wie dem WGT auf dem Programm.
