Pete Alderton is een singer-songwriter met Brits-Amerikaanse roots. Hij is een verhalenverteller met blues als basis. Dat blijft ook zo op zijn nieuwste schijf, waarop 12 songs. daaronder twee van Robert Johnson en elk een van Bob Marley, Tom Waits en KebMo. In zijn eigen songs hoor je soms een vleugje JJ Cale, dan weer Chicago-blues. Met o.a. Dave Jackson op mandoline als gast.
