Founded in Baltimore in 1969, soul group The Whatnauts scored several hits in the early 1970’s including the groundbreaking “Message From A Black Man” in 1970 and "I'll Erase Away Your Pain" in 1971. The Whatnauts music has been sampled by a host of artists including Kanye West, Busta Rhymes, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest and others. Presented here is their legendary debut album “Introducing The Whatnauts,” newly remastered.
