Together with pianist José Alberto del Cerro, the songful qualities, richness of colours and genuine human expressivity of works by Mompou, Rachmaninoff, Montsalvatge, Wagner and Obradors are transformed into luminous "songs without words", revealing the saxophone's hidden vocal soul.
