"Biomes" is a project that took Ruggiero Mascellino on an extraordinary musical journey through the natural wonders of Mexico while filming a documentary with an American crew. That experience left an indelible mark on his soul, inspiring him to translate the sensations and inspirations of that fascinating land into music. It is a work meant to be a cultural and sonic bridge between Mexico and the Mediterranean, as Mascellino sought to blend Mediterranean sensibilities with Mexican atmospheres, creating a unique and captivating sonic amalgam. This album also celebrates resilience and the human capacity for rebirth. Following the pandemic, this project represented a sort of artistic and personal renewal, marking a new phase in his musical career.
