After eight years of hiatus, Timo Gross releases his album "Black Dawg Bone". However, he was not idle during this time, but recalled on writing and producing for other musicians. But lastly, it itched him again in the fingertips and reminded himself to his roots and recorded a dirty blues album. On "Black Dawg Bone", Timo Gross reaches a new peak of his creative work. His songwriting has continually evolved, and through the album's multifaceted production, he manages to transport the songs into different sound worlds that immerse the listener in different scenarios. Many of the album's songs reflect the great themes of life: love, death, fear and hope. His distinctive voice, smoky and sometimes disturbing, dominates the album and gives it an intense expressiveness. The guitar work is more reduced than on his previous albums, but thus all the more haunting and infused with the energy of a life-experienced artist.
