Morgan Cameron Ross has spent the past six years as the songwriter and frontman for his band Birds of Wales. International touring, press coverage and television appearances resulted in Morgan building a solid fanbase plus his single/video 'Uninteresting' received considerable attention at Canadian radio and TV outlets. On this his solo venture, Morgan decided to take a departure from the slick production that we heard on 'Belgravia Hotel' and produce an album that spoke to his true influences using producers Jon Anderson in Vancouver and Ian Smith in Waterloo. There's the dark acoustic story 'My Brother Went To Prison' that would do Johnny Cash proud; the sprightly uptempo 'A Few More Days' with a kind of straw-in-the-mouth country flavour; the beautiful resign 'We've All Had Broken Hearts' co-written with Ron Sexsmith; and the peppy first single, 'Let It Go' [featuring Daniel Wesley] one of three pop songs that kick off the album penned with Ian Smith, formerly of the Miniatures.
