Elis

Released in 1972 by Philips Records, the album 'Elis' introduced several new additions to Elis Regina's career. It was the singer's first album, produced by Roberto Menescal, who also helped select the repertoire by young composers, and the first with arrangements by pianist César Camargo Mariano, with whom Elis would begin a fruitful musical and emotional partnership. To accompany the singer, César (piano) enlisted the renowned musicians Hélio Delmiro (guitar), Luizao Maia (double bass), Paulinho Braga (drums), and Chico Batera (percussion).
