On her new album, "Ghosts in the Garden," New England-based singer and songwriter Kris Delmhorst traverses the permeable boundaries of the physical and the spiritual. With her haunting vocals, she explores the ethereal and ephemeral nature of life and the shadowy world that inhabits the gardens and seasons of our lives. Like the poems of Keats, Shelley, and Emily Dickinson, Delmhorst's songs blossom as odes to transience and memory. The album features a number of renowned guest vocalists, including Anaïs Mitchell, Anna Tivel, Ana Egge, Taylor Ashton, Rachel Baiman, Jabe Beyer, and, of course, her partner Jeffrey Foucault.
