Met deze live-opnames uit 2006 bevestigt de Amerikaanse drummer/percussionist Kahil El Zabar met zijn Ethnic Heritage Ensemble opnieuw zijn naam als zeer hotte act. Met de nieuwe, nog jonge trompettist Corey Wilkes, alt- en tenorsaxofonist Ernest Dawkins en gitarist Fareed Haque bestrijkt dit ensemble het gehele spectrum van funky afro-jazz tot fluisterzachte improvisatie.
