Bruce Liu, whose career has surged to worldwide fame and recognition since winning the 2021 International Chopin Piano Competition, is hailed for his 'elf-like virtuosity' (Le Monde) and 'elegance and lightness of touch' (The Guardian). Liu now presents a deeply personal album: With 'Lunaris' he invites us into a world where sound, silence and imagination converge in a luminous nocturnal landscape. Inspired by the moon's indirect glow and the heightened sensitivity of night, the programme unfolds as a journey through shifting states of consciousness, from introspection to flashes of strangeness and dreamlike intensity.
