The deck features Danu, the mother of the Tuatha Dé Danann; Macha, the shapeshifting goddess who ruled as a High King of Ireland; The Dagda, benevolent chief god associated with fertility, wisdom, and magic; and the romantic Aengus Og who presides over youth and poetry. The Faery cards include a Gnome who tends roots, dancing Undines, Sylphs, and flower spirits.
