Ballerina

Ballerina is a 2025 action film set in the John Wick universe. The film follows Eve Macarro, whose father is murdered by a mysterious cult group of assassins. After this traumatic event, Eve is taken under the wing of Winston Scott, the owner of The Continental, an exclusive establishment for assassins. Winston brings Eve to the Ruska Roma crime syndicate, where its leader, The Director, trains her to be a ballerina assassin. Eve accepts this role and joins the organization to ultimately track down her father's killers and exact revenge. The film features many action sequences with spectacular choreography, combining ballerina-like movements with violence. However, Eve retains some human qualities, sometimes choosing non-lethal options or showing compassion for weaker opponents. Eve's drive for revenge escalates into an all-out war against the empire of The Chancellor, the leader of the assassination cult. During her mission, Eve also encounters John Wick himself. The film is directed by Len Wiseman and stars Ana de Armas in the lead role of Eve Macarro, with Ian McShane as Winston and Gabriel Byrne as The Chancellor.
