Hassan, on the other hand, has a girl who loves him and a bright future. But, he has a big problem at home - his father wants him to take over the family's Moroccan grocery store despite the fact that Hassan has been accepted by a college to further his studies. The parallel paths followed by the two protagonists over a period of 18 hours intersect violently outside a local shopping centre with fatal consequences for one and fateful consequences for the other.
