With so much landscape worthy of protection and protected in the "Land of the Open Distances", it goes without saying that only a few towns can be found in this area. Bischofsheim is located in the center of the Rhoen, which has a particularly rich variety of flora and fauna. The hiking map presents extra tours that, together with the Hochrhoener as a 180 km long premium hiking trail, allow you to explore the region around the Kreuzberg (928 m above sea level).
