An der synoptischen Frage scheiden sich die Geister - insbesondere an der Frage nach dem Material, das Matthaus- und Lukasevangelium uber das Markusevangelium hinaus gemeinsam uberliefern, klassisch: Q. Die Arbeit verschafft hier neue Einsichten: Sie analysiert die Traditio duplex als Textkorpus - fragt dabei aber nicht nur nach Koharenz, sondern auch nach einem eigenstandigen Profil gegenuber den anderen Jesustraditionen, vor allem im Markusevangelium. Aussagekraftige Parameter dafur sind die sozialen Kategorien der Texte. Hinter diesen - sozialgeschichtlich kontextualisierten - Zuschreibungen erscheint ein origineller Entwurf von Identifikationsangeboten: hungrige Gotteskinder, alternative Konigsboten, verkannte Propheten, verantwortungsvolle Gottessklaven und andere mehr. Opinions on the synoptic hypothesis are divided, particularly when it comes to the question of what the shared Gospels of Matthew and Luke passed down beyond the Gospel of Mark: traditionally, "Q". This work provides new insights into this subject: It analyzes the double tradition as a text corpus - thereby exploring not only coherence, but also a non-shared textual profile vis-a-vis the other Jesus-related traditions, above all in the Gospel of Mark. The conclusive parameters are the texts' social categories.
