The cycling and hiking map provides the user with an interesting map section, since half of the region shown is in the Czech Republic. While the Ore Mountains used to be strictly divided by the 'Iron Curtain', cyclists and hikers can now explore the region across borders. Long-distance cycle paths and hiking trails such as the Anton-Günther-Weg or the Erzgebirge ridge tour lead through both the German and the Czech part of the low mountain range. The health resorts of Oberwiesenthal, Schwarzenberg, Johanngeorgenstadt, but also Bozi Dar and Nejdek offer vacationers accommodation, gastronomy and attractive leisure activities such as the suspension railway to the Fichtelberg.
