François Valentiny und Hubert Hermann gründeten kurz nach ihrem Diplom bei Wilhelm Holzbauer an der Angewandten in Wien das gemeinsame Büro. Mit ihrer Stadtvilla für die IBA Berlin legten sie den Grundstein für ihren architektonischen Anspruch.

„Stories from the Inside" ist eine Retrospektive über vierzig Jahre und erzählt die Geschichten hinter den Entwürfen und Bauten. Fünf reich bebilderte Bände zeigen Material aus den Archiven der Valentiny Foundation und aktuelle Projekte mit Schwerpunkten auf Kultur-, Wohn- und Verwaltungsbauten sowie Freizeitanlagen.

Der letzte Band dokumentiert das Projekt 15-19 Wisswee in Remerschen: Hier kulminieren intellektuelle Reisen und internationale Projekte vom Weltausstellungspavillon in Shanghai über das Teatro de l’Occitane in Bahia zum Haus für Mozart in Salzburg.
