The author has been teaching a course called “Energy Laws and Policies” for a long time. It can be used by instructors around the World, or by students/individuals who want to learn more about these policies. It is aimed to serve as a textbook for undergraduate, and graduate level students. The book includes the definitions, types, advantages/disadvantages of energy efficiency policies and renewable energy policies in general. It also provides a comparative analysis on energy efficiency and renewable energy policy preferences of different countries. It will help the students to better understand the major differences between policies, how they are applied and which policies should be preferred under which conditions.
