20 nursery rhymes and lullabies from Ukraine to plunge into the musical culture of this country. This new album "Rhymes of the World" reveals all the beauty of Ukrainian folk song. This song can be ritual (Christmas, celebration of the seasons) or non-ritual (historical or political themes, lullabies, finger games, etc.), but it is always moving, in turn joyful or sensitive. It reflects the everyday life of the Ukrainian people, their aesthetics and their worldview. The collection was carried out by Nathalie Soussana for several months from Ukrainian refugees in France, Germany and Poland.
