But when a beautiful and mysterious woman saves his life and his soul, it is the beginning of Konosuke’s journey into a strange world of magic that exists a step away from his own.

During Toki’s attack on Yumiko Village, Aki and Tsuki escape into a tunnel leading to a long-forgotten cell—with a prisoner still inside? As the battle continues, Bokutake looks into Toki’s soul, hoping to find a clue in her past that will help them quell her evil rage. There turns out to be a way, but the risk is great, and the chaos that ensues will lead to Konosuke having to make a terrible bargain with his sworn enemies…
