Evan had an alright life: a job he didn't mind and a long-distance girlfriend he liked well enough. Then he lost both on the same day, met a mysterious girl, and wound up transformed into GUNPUNCH — supposedly Earth's last hope against an invasion of shape-shifting Draxans.

Armed with a high-tech symbiotic armor grafted onto his body, Evan lurches through citywide chaos, corporate secrets, alien recruiters, and a supporting cast of eccentrics while trying to decide whether any of this heroic destiny is actually worth the trouble.
