Ani spies her neighbour, Nando, sneaking out at night. When she follows him she discovers the fox he has befriended. With each visit they form a bond with the fox and each other. But when the fox goes missing they fear the worst. Can they save her and her cubs?

Dad has moved out and Ani is struggling to accept his absence. Her mysterious neighbour, Nando, and his secret nocturnal trips provide a welcome distraction.
