Then, in 2019, UJJ burst from the sea once more in Britain’s longest‑serving war comic, Commando. Appearing for the first time since 1991, alongside his steadfast mates, Sean O’Bannion and Sergeant Lonningon, the Limey charges at enemy-held islands and goes head-to-head with Japanese snipers alongside awestruck US marines, eager to get their own piece of the action. If there was one thing the Yanks respected it was guts, and Jack Jackson had that in spades!
