Written & compiled by Peter Solowka & Len Liggins, the book charts the 35-year career of the Cossack folk-punk pioneers from Leeds. The band brought Ukrainian music & culture to the West's attention, have taken it to people of Ukrainian heritage across the globe and had their songs played on the International Space Station.
A 320-page large format hardback book with over 200 full colour image and packed with stories from current and former members of Cossack-punk pioneers The Ukrainians along with memories from fans, friends and musical collaborators, including David Gedge (The Wedding Present), Jan Wobble (Invaders of the Heart, PiL), Andrew 'Whitey' White (Kaiser Chiefs), Harri Kakoulli (Squeeze), TV Smith (The Adverts) and Shaun Charman (Jetstream Pony, The Wedding Present).
