A luxurious gift edition of Wilde's classic children's tales

Oscar Wilde's children's tales have enchanted readers young and old alike for over a hundred years. This stunning new hardback edition is beautifully illustrated in full colour by major illustrator Lauren O'Hara and features six classic tales, including "The Happy Prince" and "The Selfish Giant".

This is the first time an Irish publisher has produced an edition of these stories by a canonical Irish author, and no expense is spared: gorgeous paper, linen-effect cover, gold foil, cloth head-and-tail band and a ribbon bookmark adorn the book.

In 1888, the famous queer Irish poet and playwright Oscar Wilde published a collection of bedtime stories for children. Oscar Wilde's Stories for Children is stunningly illustrated new edition of six of these tales. Feeling both classic and fresh, timeless and modern, Lauren O'Hara's delicate, rich colour illustrations bring this cornerstone of children's literature to life for readers of all ages.
