The next instalment in the fabulous series about a class of Year 7 children navigating a new school, family life and the ups and downs of friendship - this time it's Gabby's turn to tell her story of growing up and coping with change.

When Gabby gets her first period, she’s far too embarrassed to tell her dad and older brothers and wishes for the millionth time that her mum was still alive. Although Dad’s new girlfriend is nice, Gabby is determined to break them up before Natasha tries to replace her mum and take Dad away from her. But when things go wrong for Gabby on a weekend away, it’s Natasha who saves the day. Maybe change isn’t so bad, and there’s room for one more in Gabby’s family after all.
