In Memory of Menno Wigman
This memorial pamphlet is intended as a tribute to the poet and as a companion to Window-Cleaner Sees Paintings, my selection of Wigman's poetry published by Arc in 2016.

Although many of the poems in this pamphlet focus on illness and mortality, and regret for an unlived life and a future the poet will be denied, there a beauty and a humour in this negativity. Skilfully translated by David Colmer, who worked closely with Wigman on Window-cleaner Sees Paintings, this pamphlet is a fitting tribute to a greatly-admired and much-missed poet.
