The author, a much published writer on the miniature railway scene, both in the UK and overseas, has put together this collection of 37 miniature railways from around the UK which are no longer with us. Each line has a chapter of its own, consisting of a brief outline of the line’s history and route, along with a selection of photographs which illustrate the character of the featured railway.
