Principal feature is that all walks are less than five miles in length (though averaging 4 miles each, they are all very definitely worthwhile outings), making them ideal for families, leisure walkers, and others constrained by either time or other limitations. Concise route descriptions are complemented by ample background information. This title deals with Upper Wharfedale, the most popular valley in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Twenty superb walks use starting points such as Buckden, Grassington, Arncliffe and Kettlewell. Places visited include Buckden Pike, Hubberholme, Grass Wood and Linton. Launched in in unison with 3 other neighbouring Yorkshire Dales titles, covering Malhamdale, Nidderdale and Lower Wharfedale.
