Sometimes when things should be straightforward, they're just not. When Hannah sets out to move house, the process falls apart repeatedly, facing her with a stark question what does she really want? The prospect of homelessness is a looming reality that brings a lifetime's worth of fears to the fore. Yet behind it all, is the constant, subtle sense of an indefinable 'something' important, lost but almost within reach. The death of her mother adds further turmoil and grief. Seeking refuge in a caravan with her dog, she turns to the wild for clarity. There on the Lizard, on the South-West coast, in the magical landscape that called to her and spoke of home, she rediscovers the power of the wild and our ancient relationship with it.

Hannah embarks upon an unexpected journey of reclaiming the inner self she had almost forgotten. Amid winter storms and soft sea mists, through every nuance of the seasons, she immerses herself in the wild and it shows the way back to an ancestral awareness of the inner nomad and settler within us all.
