Martin looks back on five decades that took him from ITV in the 1970s to British Satellite Broadcasting, then to Sky Sports, and on to a freelance career that has kept him close to the heart of the game. At the same time, this is the story of a lifelong supporter of Woking FC and a man who has lived football at every level, from playing at the University of East Anglia and for Corinthian Casuals to coaching across non league clubs.
